Frequently Asked Questions
I am new to exercise or haven't exercised in a long time - will I be able to keep up?
Yes, we are proud to cater for all ages and abilities. Our coaches work hard to ensure that our sessions can be enjoyed by everyone by providing lower impact options as well as more challenging progressions.
Can I try the classes before I commit to a membership?
We want you to feel as comfortable as possible in your decision to join us, which is why we are happy for you to take part in a trial class of your choice following your free consultation.
Am I tied into a long contract when I sign up for a membership?
No, when signing up for amonthly direct debit you are free to cancel after 3 months. We also have discounts available for those who want to pay for longer periods upfront.
Can I do a mixture of Group Training and Personal Training?
Yes, many people choose to join our group training membership and work with a personal trainer alongside this.
I only want to do Personal Training, do I have to pay a membership fee?
No, our Personal Training clients buy their sessions and use them as and when they want - it's as simple as that!
I am a Group Training member, can I freeze my membership if I need to?
If you are away or unable to attend the gym for periods of 28 days or more, we'll be happy to freeze your membership.
Is there a limit to how many classes I can do?
We would recommend visiting 3-5 times per week depending on your goals and fitness levels, but there is no limit on how many classes you can take part in.
I am used to training on my own, will I enjoy training at JWC?
Everyone can benefit from coach-led training, and we help our members acheive all kinds of goals; from fat loss and improved cardio fitness to full body recomposition and strength training.
Can I come and use the gym
When they're not running classes, our coaches are busy working with Personal Training clients, which means that we are currently unable to offer any 'open gym sessions'.
