Life is a challenge, and life has this amazing way of roller coasting us through positive and negative spells. We often go through what we can only describe as a burnout, which is defined by physical, mental, and emotional exhaustion.
When you are experiencing this negativity and exhaustion motivating yourself to come to the gym is one of the biggest challenges. Forcing yourself to stick to your routine however and allow yourself that time to give your body what it needs in terms of exercise may just be your ticket out.
Exercise is the miracle cure we’ve always had, but for too long we’ve neglected to take our recommended dose. Our health is now suffering as a consequence both physically and mentally. Research has shown that the more physical activity you engaged in, the less likely you are to experience elevated depression and burnout levels.
So, when we are asked “I am exhausted, should I go to the gym?” The answer has to be YES!
