As a JWC Coach, I am passionate about fitness, but this wasn't always the case. I wanted to take the opportunity to properly introduce myself and to talk about the journey that got me to where I am today.
Throughout my childhood and early teens, I was always slim. I never had any desire to take part in any sports and I happily ate whatever I wanted with little to no consequences. Like a lot of people, this lifestyle caught up with me. My clothes had slowly begun to feel tighter and my confidence was suffering.
Enough was enough, I needed to make a change.
I decided to clean up my diet and borrowed a kettlebell from a friend at work. Slowly but surely, the extra weight started to disappear and I had found a new love for working out. After 6 months, I wanted to learn more.
Although my fitness had started to improve, my confidence was still very low and I was too scared to conquer the gym floor alone. I enlisted the help of a personal trainer who was able to show me the ropes and set me off on my fat loss, strength building journey. This decision changed my life!
Fast forward to 3 years and many hours of training later. I was still the same person, but I was now a slimmer, stronger and happier version of myself with a passion to help others to feel the same way.
