Benefits to Exercising With You Partner
Quality time. One of the most common barriers to exercise is time, and time spent as a couple, understandably, is likely to be a priority and leaving your significant other for 5 hours a week to exercise is likely to get you in a world of trouble. Train together and INCREASE your time together as a couple.
Motivate each other! There are going to be times when you don't fancy going to the gym on a cold dark day. Having a live-in training partner will allow you to encourage each other. (Be careful, this can work the other way too!)
Support each other. Trying to 'diet' while your other half is scoffing chocolate is like trying to give up smoking while your friends all smoke around you. It simply ain't going to happen!
Live a more active life. Whatever stage of your life your in, whether you want more energy to stay out later, to play with your children without getting tired or simply to make it through your daily takes with ease, exercise is a must!
Decreased risk of murder. Exercise releases endorphins. Endorphins make you happy. Happy people don't kill their partners.
Improved sex life. There are a number of reasons why exercise improves your sex life.
Maybe not a problem if you're 18 years old, but once you're at a stage in your life where you have work stresses and children to contend with, sleep often becomes far more appealing. Increased energy = improved sex life. When we exercises we experience an increase in testosterone, oxytocin and other hormone levels which have a direct and positive effect on our sex drive.
Exercise aids blood flow, helping your body channel blood to the, erm, necessary areas.
