Above, you'll see a screen shot that we've pulled from our Facebook page. At first glance, this would seem like a daft question.
Of course we wouldn't make a conscious decision to be unhappy.
But if I were to change the question slightly to;
"Would you make the conscious decision not to do the things that would improve your quality of life and make you happier" I suspect that we would get a different answer.
You see, every day I meet people who are unhappy. People who's health may be suffering as a consequence of their lifestyle choices, yet they consciously continue to make the same choices.
These may be people who have maintained a lifestyle for so long that they don't know how to get out of the circle.
The first step is to accept and admit that you're unhappy.
The next step is to ask for help.
It doesn't have to be us. Hell, it may not even need to be a professional. It may be a friend or work colleague.
You may need to make the simplest of changes in your life to begin the ball rolling, and having somebody keep you accountable.
